Welcome Topanga Christian Fellowship (TCF) was constructed by local families and opened its doors in the 1940s. Today it continues to serve as a Biblically-based, Spirit-filled beacon of God's love and Christ's forgiveness to all of us in Topanga and to our neighboring friends. Listen carefully and you'll hear the church bell ringing each Sunday morning announcing the start of service at 10:30 a.m. The first part of the service is music-filled praise and worship. The remaining time is spent in the Word with Biblical messages and ancient scriptures presented and interpreted in a contemporary, exciting, and often humorous way. After service, prayer teams are available to minister to congregational needs. We observe Communion of the first Sunday of each month. In addition, we have Bible study on Wednesday nights and "Prayer, Prophesy, and Healing" on Friday evenings. The church also serves as a center for the Community. We are easy to find (third left turn on Old Topanga after you cross the bridge by the Post Office). Many special interest groups currently utilize the church: T-CEP, CERT, Red Cross, AA, BDA, Cub Scouts and Topanga Community Choir. We have also hosted numerous musical recitals and concerts, weddings, and memorial services, and our spacious parking lot has been used for swap meets, BBQs, and movie productions. And, during an emergency or disaster, the church serves as a Red Cross designated shelter. We are a user-friendly church. |
